Istanbul Archeology Museum

The Archaeological Museum is one of the few structures explicitly built as a museum in the world which is one of Istanbul’s most magnificent and spectacular examples of neo-classical architecture. In addition, The Istanbul Archaeology Museums hold a massive collection of approximately one million artifacts from perse civilizations, including Assyrian, Hittite, Egypt, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Turkish civilizations, which significantly impacted history.

Admissions: Monday – Sunday 09.00 am – 20.00 pm

Tips & Things to Know Before You Attend: Please note that the north wing of the museum and the Tiled Kiosk are closed due to exhibition arrangements. Also, bear in mind that the box office closes at 19.30. In addition, the museum has audio guidance service upon your request.
