Location & Surroundings

Istanbul stands at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, and here you’ll find antiquity and modernity existing side by side in unexpected and delightful ways.

Fairmont Quasar Istanbul is located in Mecidiyeköy, a thriving neighborhood of luxury shopping malls, company headquarters and private residences. Completed in 2017, our exceptional 5-star hotel is set in the grounds of a distillery, now meticulously restored in Art Deco style and transformed into an event venue.

Our central location means you are never far from Istanbul’s top sights. A 10-minute drive takes you to a bridge across the Bosphorus, heading for the myriad cultural attractions of Anatolia, or you can cross the Golden Horn to reach the Historical Peninsula, where world-famous heritage sites include the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace.
